Aleksandar joined EL BAT while still studying economics, initially looking for a temporary job – but ended up staying for good. Why? Not just for stability, but for the opportunity to grow. He began in October 2008, right in the middle of the global financial crisis. He started out operating the weighbridge and concrete plant – far from the role he holds today. But it was during these challenging early years that he laid the foundation for his professional development.
When the economy and lead market began recovering in 2010, Aleksandar’s path began to take shape. He clearly remembers his first day – he was supposed to start in one position, but due to the circumstances at the time, he was assigned a different one. Rather than resist, he adapted. That flexibility and readiness to jump in became key traits that continue to define him today.

For Aleksandar, the work is not just logistics – it’s dynamic, creative, and demanding. Every day involves coordination with many people, quick decisions, and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
